LOLER 1998

A LOLER Examination must be carried out to satisfy the Lifting Operations and Lifting Regulations 1998 as defined by the Health and Safety Executive. LOLER applies to lifting equipment and builds on the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER). The regular, periodic and thorough examination of cranes, lifts and other lifting machinery, including any attachments for anchoring, fixing and supporting, is essential to show that this equipment is safe to use and fit for purpose.


PUWER 1998 Inspection

A PUWER inspection must be carried out to satisfy the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 as defined by the Health and Safety Executive. Dealing with the work equipment and machinery used every day in workplaces, the regulations aim to keep people safe wherever equipment and machinery is used at work. PUWER inspections check that machinery is suitable for its intended purpose, regularly maintained are safe to use.


PSSR 2000

A PSSR inspection must be carried out to satisfy the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 as defined by the Health and Safety Executive. PSSR 2000 requires pressure systems to be inspected in accordance with a Written Scheme of Examination. Any pressure vessel containing compressed gas over 250 bar / litres capacity will require inspection at the periodicy determined by the Written Scheme Of Examination.
